Where to begin?!? So much has happened with moving in, meeting friends, and learning how to say bye to friends and family. This will be my fourth night sleeping in my dorm room at Columbia! It is AMAZING! I have met so many great people and absolutely love my suite mates. Classes do not start until September seventh so I have been attending the fantastic welcome week events set up for us. Today was a get together with all the students in my major AND a costume party. I attended as Minnie Mouse and met a ton of cool people in my major.
Tomorrow I'll be attending a thrift store and cupcake crawl--where we will be going to all the affordable places that sell cupcakes and affordable places that sell cheap vintage clothes. What else could you ask for?!? I still have a ton of time to meet more people and figure out my way around this beautiful city, so I am gonna give it a shot :)
It's 12:59 right now and I'm starting to feel extremely tired from all the walking that was done today. There is so much to do in this city...I just have to remember to wear good shoes.
Speaking of which, the boot has come off! After breaking my toe/side of foot while running into my couch, I have attempted to take it off again. Again? Well, last time I removed the huge weight on my right foot, I rejammed the toe and had to put it back on. We shall see what happens.
